Welcome, and we hope you will feel at home with us. Our names are Geoff and Dot, and come from Gloucester, in England. You will be more familiar with us , if you've visited our other web-site, but here we'd like to paint a picture of one of the stories of The Lord Jesus....
"And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers. And He saith unto them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." And straightway they left their nets, and followed Him.
Matthew 4: 18-20.
On another occasion, Jesus calmed a Storm on the Sea of Galilee. He was with His Disciples in a boat...some of them were fishermen and used to the sea, but this Storm frightened even them. Jesus spoke and Commanded the winds and waves to be at Peace, and immediately the Storm ceased. The Disciples were amazed and said among themselves..."Who is this that even the winds obey Him?" This puts us in mind of the cost of Following Him ..."Whosoever will come after Me let him deny himself and take up his cross, and Follow Me." There are many times in our lives when we face great upheavals and times of fear, but if we have faith in The LORD Jesus as our Saviour, He can calm those storms in our lives, and we can know His Peace..
